UK’s Premier Coal Merchants launches Logs2U Website
Against a background of dramatic energy price increases of 60% predicted by UK energy Watchdog Ofgem, CPL Distribution, the UK’s Premier Coal Merchants has made a move into emerging eco fuel markets with the launch of their new biomass Wood Fuels Supply Division of 30 nationwide depots backed by a fantastic new website Logs2U.
UK fails to meet demand for Wood Fuels
Winter 2008 was one of the coldest winters for many years in the UK and it has led to many households assessing how best to heat their homes in the most cost effective and environmentally efficient manner possible.
Hundreds of fireplaces have been bought back into use and the sales of wood burning stoves and multi-fuel stoves have increased significantly as people turn to using wood fuels as a primary method of energy for heating, hot water, recreational uses and for cooking too. A huge resurgence in the use of – Kiln Dried Logs, Seasoned Logs, Fire Logs, Hardwood Logs and Firewood as eco friendly wood fuels has been dramatic to say the least.
Initial £300K expansion project
CPL Distribution (Part of CPL Industries Group) runs the UK’s leading online Coal Merchant website Coals2U and has witnessed increasing demand in the last 18 months for quality seasoned hardwood and softwood logs alongside traditional orders for solid fuels. Such was the demand, that towards the end of Winter 2008 seasoned logs were nationally in short supply, wholesale prices rose unexpectedly and consumers were left with only unseasoned wood or softwood to burn.
For Winter 2009, CPL have launched the UK’s first, National Home Delivery Service for Premium Kiln Dried Hardwood Logs – alongside a range of seasoned logs, eco solid fuels and other wood fuel products.

what are some good ideas for things to go on at my bonfire sweet 16?
i cant have a real bonfire because of the neighborhood i live in, so it has to be in a 30″ firepit i have a few ideas on what to do but i want some unconventional food and fun stuff i already know the basics like hot dogs and smores but i know i want more stuff and maybe some interactive games to play, it will be very cold because it will be towards christmas
Make your Smores with chocolate chip or oatmeal cookies instead of graham crackers.
Here are some really fun games.
BURGLAR ALARM GAME- Set a little timer and have everyone go out of the room. One person stays in and hides the timer. Then the other children come back in and try to find the timer before it goes off. Whoever finds it gets some kind of prize and also a chance to hide it the second time around. In case the timer goes off before anyone has a chance to find it, the person hiding it gets a prize. For an added effect this could be played in a dark room using flashlights.
HIDE AND SEEK THE BLAIR WITCH WAY- (Best for teenagers) This is a new type of hide and seek to play using a mobile phone and your home phone. Wait until it’s dark and turn out the lights. One person hides with a cell phone. In the pitch black, everyone goes looking for this one person. Every so often the person hiding must call the house phone and give clues to where he/she is hiding. This game is thrilling and fun. If you have one, use a night vision video camera to follow the guests and watch the tape later.
SCAVENGER HUNT – Go to the Mall, home or outside and do a scavenger hunt. Make a list of things to find and set a time limit and go for it.
You will need to have your mom or someone the day before go to the mall, or hide things at home or outside. If at mall have your mom go to the mall and find like 20 items in store windows for you to hunt for. Just don’t let her go to early for the windows might change. Otherwise have her hide where you will be doing this.
Give each person a piece of paper with the items on it and space to write what store they found it in or collect the items that are hidden AND HAVE A PRIZE FOR THE WINNER.
